Great Lady

< 1 min read

The court's spoken form of address for a senior royal woman: the honorific by which Nefertiti is addressed throughout Book 1. Queens of the period bore epithets of this shape in the record, 'Great of Praises', 'Mistress of Upper and Lower Egypt', but the fixed English address is the series' own rendering, not an attested title.
