Tomb 55 in the Valley of the Kings: a cache of reburied Amarna royal material containing a desecrated coffin and a male body. Whether that body is Akhenaten or Smenkhkare is one of the central disputes of Amarna studies. Contents attested; identification disputed; the series adopts the flagged Smenkhkare reading.
