Eldest daughter of Akhenaten and Nefertiti, elevated to Great Royal Wife in the final years of the Amarna period. Her name appears in the Amarna diplomatic correspondence and on objects from Tutankhamun's tomb. Attested; her precise role in the succession is interpretive in all reconstructions.
